My mom and I were driving around in a town nearby and saw a guy on the corner with a sign. I looked at the sign out of curiousity. It was a typical carwash fundraiser, but it said that the donation goes to a family who can’t afford a funeral for their son. It even had a picture of the dead son.
After that, I felt morbid. It’s sad having a fundraiser to be able to pay for one’s funeral.
